I stayed in this hotel with my wife for a couple of nights and we both enjoyed it. The hotel is mid-distance between the train station (up to 15min walk) and Hiroshima main spots (10min to castle, 20 min to Memorial Park). If needed, you could also ride the tramway which passes in the front of hotel. The room is small and simple, nonetheless quiet at night for a deserved rest, comfy and contains all we needed (kettle, minifridge, aircon, comfy bed and equipped bathroom, and pyjamas). Staff had limited English but is truly helpful to help you info about the city and touristic leaflets to this intent are available at the hotel reception. Breakfast was part of our room deal and included lots of Japanese dishes, e.g. Hiroshima style okonomiyaki and yakisoba (grilled noodles), fish, omelette ... and few limited Western options. Nonetheless, we found it really good value for money. Overall, this hotel will best fit solo traveller/couples (possibly group of friends if twin beds or separate rooms), who dont mind walking a bit around to reach the hotel or explore the city. We walked all of the main spots in Hiroshima, and also took the train to explore around Hiroshima area so this hotel felt the best choice for us. The deal was a really good value for money including breakfast, and I would definitely stay again on a future trip.

I stayed in the Premier Double Room - Non-Smoking for 3 nights. Good points: - No smoke odour in the room/bathroom and was very clean and quiet. - Free soft drink, coffee, iced water from 3pm-midnight. Life saver in the 36 degrees heat!! - Reliable wifi in the room - Staff will securely keep your luggage until you check in. - Good skyline view of the surrounding mountains - Great location. 5min walk to the closest streetcar station and 10min walk to the underground mall that will take you close to most of the tourist sites that keeps you cool from the summer heat. ~20min from the Hiroshima Station. - The room had an AC that you can control (if you can read Japanese), a humidifier and air cleanser. A powerful fan can be borrowed from near the lift (if available). - Basic amenities in the bathroom. Japanese style pyjamas that are refreshed with every room housekeeping session. - Free onsen/bath on 2nd floor. I think this would be excellent for the colder seasons. - Washing machine and dryer also available on 2nd floor. - Breakfast is available for extra.

Very nice local hotel in the centre of Hiroshima with lovely and helping staff and a competitive price. You can reach everything just walking; historical site, restaurants and shopping area The bus and tram stop to the station or Miyajima are just at the corner. I liked the breakfast mainly local with few western options and the free drink available in the comun area. I enjoyed both day I stay the hitel free public bath at level 2, just ask at the reception!

The location was good about 20 min from Hiroshima station and 15 min to the memorial park. The reception staff is very friendly. Yes the hotel is a bit dated and the brown colour somehow makes it a bit drab, but it's clean and comfortable. We also had a breakfast which was pretty good, a mixture of European and japanese. There is onsen on site but we didn't use it, also washing machine facility.

The staff were wonderful, so attentive: some of the best service we've received so far. I appreciate drinks being available on the house most of the time as well. Breakfast was tasty and the rooms were quite big, too! The location meant we could walk to all our destinations as well, which was really nice after so much train hopping from other hotels
